About the Roundtable
We will be building on the Engagement Sessions held by the Transition Valuation Project at Oxford University in July and New York Climate Week in September 2025. This roundtable is for executives and experts to develop an engagement platform and evidence for asset owners – pension funds, insurances, family offices, sovereign wealth funds and international development finance institutions to the transition valuation. The purpose is to provide insights from leading academic and practitioner research and learning from asset owners:
We will be exploring key questions of usability of impact data for steering corporate transitions:
• What is the role of usability for the adoption of transition planning, Impact valuation and impact data by investors?
• How satisfied are asset owners overall with impact data and transition planning in public and private markets?
• How effective and efficient are current standards and methods in managing risks and risk-adjusted returns, and strengthen the credibility of transition plans with Stakeholders?
Target Audience
Organizations interested to understand the information needs of asset owners, especially pension funds and insurances.
Outcomes
The learnings of these closed sessions will influence how we as a community engage with asset owners and our work policy, standard-setting, scientific research and open method development with follow-up engagements with asset owner coalitions, OECD, GRI, ISSB, Capitals Coalition, WEF.
