Support our mission by donating to Greenings.

Thank you for helping to improve cross-sector collaboration, which is largely based on unpaid volunteering within our network. Your donation will ensure operational effectiveness and independence. You will be certain to receive a personal thank you from the Founders and, if you agree, recognition in our Annual Report. When we organise an in-person annual meeting event, you will be the first to be invited as a Greenings Champion.

The Greenings Champions Pledge

We are grateful for any donation and explain exactly how we use them in the donation page below. You can use any of the three payment options below. You do not have to do anything else - you will receive a confirmation and be kept informed about our work, as well as be invited to dedicated events for our donors and members.

For donations of CHF 5,000 or more, we can discuss your donation with you personally. Please complete our Greenings Champions Pledge in the online form here or download the Greenings Champions Pledge form and return to champions@greenings.org. We will be in touch with you.

Your donation will be processed by Stripe and held securely at Greenings' account with UBS. We will report on progress both in our public annual report and directly to our Greenings Champions and philanthropic institutions.

  • We will use individual donations to pursue our mission: To accelerate a sustainable, SDG-aligned global transition by convening people from business, government, academia, civil society, and finance to identify and overcome system-level barriers to progress. We deliver this mission by:

    - Facilitating cross-sector networking among members and partners.
    - Providing structured learning through webinars, briefings, and roundtables.
    - Publishing evidence-based insights and thought leadership.
    - Managing focused projects that address key challenges of transition progress.
    Your donations will be used to run a minimum viable organization that is effective, efficient and satisfies the needs of our members and partners to pursue our mission.

  • Greenings was founded in 2010 by Dennis West, Dimitrij Euler and a group of young professionals and students at the time. Today, our core work is still mainy run on an unpaid volunteering basis. Above all, we are active citizens and professionals who share the following values:

    - Awareness of SDG-aligned transition risks and opportunities in their own organizations and in different sectors

    - Empathy for the views, needs and challenges of executives, experts and their stakeholders in different sectors

    - Courage to make decisions under deep uncertainty and always learning from one another for collaborative, respectful problem-solving.

  • We are a Swiss-based member organization (Swiss Verein) and are governed by our Articles of Association. We have a Board of Directors, an Annual General Assembly and, for our flagship Transition Valuation Project, a dedicated Steering Committee. While we engage with corporations as partner organizations, our members are made up of individuals in their own capacity. Our partnership agreements are transparent and fair to ensure the quality, independence and accessibility of our work for the public benefit.

  • Our paid staff currently equals to 0.2 Full Time Equivalent, with most of the Executive Team being either seconded or volunteering. Our plan is to grow the core team of paid staff to pursue our mission, grow our membership, and scale our positive impact. With your donations, we can deliver value and build to foundation to scale with philanthropic institutions and partners in private, public and civil society sector.
