Traditional waterfall planning—a rigid, sequential model—often fails to meet the demands of today’s sustainability challenges. In a world where policies shift, markets evolve, and user needs change rapidly, this linear approach leaves little room for adaptation or innovation.

That’s why Greenings uses a Sprint Methodology

Greenings Sprint Methodology

A fast, flexible, and collaborative way to design solutions that respond to real-world complexity and deliver meaningful impact.

Inspired by agile practices in software development, our approach is built for uncertainty. It brings together the right people at the right time—those creating solutions and those who will use or be affected by them.

How it works

Greenings identifies the key leverage points in a challenge and brings the relevant players together—whether they’re policymakers, investors, business leaders, or community stakeholders. Each Sprint is led by an independent facilitator and runs through three phases:

  1. Planning

  2. Live collaboration

  3. Review

Sprints are particularly effective when a solution is still being shaped—whether that’s a method, standard, policy, process, piece of software, or even a product specification.

Average duration: 5 weeks.

What it delivers

Sprints break down complex challenges into clear, actionable steps. They lead to practical outcomes—whether that’s changes to business practices, draft policies, new standards, or tools ready for testing and use.

Because Sprints involve a wide range of voices from the start, the results are grounded in real needs and ready for real-world application. They don’t just solve problems—they create alignment, shared ownership, and lasting momentum.

This is collaboration built to move things forward—together.
